question about Downloading new version of wordpress Thesis

  • Can you download a new version of wordpress thesis without it overlaying the version that is being used? Do you download it to your laptop and than upload it to your website? Very new at creating a wordpress website. Just really starting out. Thanks

  • WordPress Thesis is obviously a theme, so you’d better post in the right section.

    Downloading a theme to your laptop of course does not modify anything on your website. Making a local copy of your own version of Thesis before uploading the new version might be a good idea.

    I suggest :
    1 copy your existing version of the theme to your laptop, in a repertory named thesis old
    2 upload thesis on your ftp
