Question about Elementor Page Builder

    Hello, I am new to WordPress. I am using/downloaded the Astra Starter Site that came with a suggested Plug in called “Elementor” page builder?

    Is there any pros or cons to having this Plug-in?? I tried “Deactivating” it and it totally messed up the layout of the website. When I activated it again, the site is back to looking/working fine. Looks like its required to have with this WordPress theme?

    Going forward is it ok to use this Astra Starter Site with Elementor? or would anyone suggest I download something else to use? Do I have to use Elementor to edit the site or can I also Edit it like you normally would in WordPress?

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

    Hi there!

    It depends on the Astra demo that you’ve imported. If the template or demo is built using the Elementor plugin, then you have to keep the plugin activated or the templates will be destroyed or will not be available. This short article should clarify things out.

    You can still deactivate the plugin and edit the pages as you normally would without it, but you may have to start from scratch.
