Question about export possibility

    Hello.

    I am in need of advice.

    I would like to be able to give users the ability to export the results from an advanced search query to excel directly from the front end of the directory with a simple “Export Results” button.

    I know there is no such option currently in the plugin, so I will be very grateful for any suggestions on how I can achieve this.

    I have searched for other plugins, but with no luck.

    Hi @seers007,

    Thanks for contacting me here.

    Right now, BD only supports the export of listings as the admin (and for the entire directory). That’s something we can consider for future development, but not something the plugin allows for today.

    You could customize the plugin yourself to add that–we have an article here about the pros and cons of doing so, along with some hints to get started: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/docs/customization-guide/

    These instructions are a bit out of date, but more comprehensive that the template overrides that exist now.
