    1. %ANNOUNCE% – Inserts the text till the <!–more–> tag or first N words of the post. N could be set in the settings.

    2. What do you have selected in the “What should fill attachment info”?

    1. “Plugin will take text untill the <!–more–> tag. Please specify how many characters should it get if <!–more–> tag is not found”

I thought if there is the more tag, then the plugin use it, so I have to leave that field empty?

    1. You can set how many words to take in the settings.

    2. Will it work if you don’t autopost automatically, but click “Post to facebook” button after several minutes?

    1. I think, you do not understand my problem. I’m using the more tag always in my posts. But the plugin always gets more words.

    2. I will try it, but now I switched to plugin fill, that does the trick.

I am sorry, but I can’t see how what you describe could be possible. The code that does that feature just splits the post text by the <!–more–> and sends the first part to %ANNOUNCE% and the second to %ANNOUNCER%.

That’s it. There is no way to get “more words” if <!–more–> is present in your text.

If it really works like you described, please contact support directly with your site info, we will need to take a look at your environment.
