    Hello!

Before I will start my work and buy your version, I would like to know answer for my question, thanks in advance for your help! ??

I would like to create something like social-platform for people, who will be able to add/edit/delete their images and other users can browse them. My question:

    1) If its possible that we can allow to edit and delete images only for their authors? (and of course for admin). This is questions about permissions etc.
To sum up this question. because I’m not sure if I’m clear ?? – so, any other users (logged-in or not) see all images, but only user who uploaded this file – can edit or delete it.

Your plugin is great (for example search-options etc), and I plan to buy your PRO licence, but I would like to know these answers ??

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

    thank you for your feedback.
Check out the “read info” of the shortcodes in a created gallery. They explain the possibilities. You can simply use cg_gallery_user shortcode, where it is possible to upload and edit, even in the normal version. It is also explained in the “read info” >>> ” a logged in user see only his own added images using cg_gallery_user” shortcode. Just create a test user and upload in frontend and you will see.

Thank you very much for your help and answer ??

    I have the last question:

what does it mean: “Only JPG allowed for frontend
    “Image upload” in normal version.”

    – it means that in Pro version I could upload also .png images through frontend?

    Thanks!

“it means that in Pro version I could upload also .png images through frontend?”
Yes, it means exactly that :).
