    Hello,

I have what is probably an easy question. I can navigate and use this plugin just fine it’s very well set up and easy to follow and understand. In fact I’m looking into using it more for tracking and planning. My question is on the list of redirects there is the hits column. I took this to mean the number of times a link is clicked. I set up a redirect for a qr code we created and after checking to make sure it worked I came back later to see it had a hits of 13 but when I went to logs I only saw the one I did to make sure everything worked. So am I misreading it? Did 13 people use the redirect and it only grabbed my link click cause everyone else blocks tracking?

    Thanks for your help.

I’m not sure what you mean. The hits count records each time the URL is redirected.

    hello john,

I am having the same “issue”. Hits marks 69 but when I look at analytics I only get 12… so is it possible that the hits also count “bots” and “search engines robots” as hits?
I would like to know if you put in place some sort of filtering system so that only human/browser requests are filtered or if any request for the URL > redirection by the server is counted as one.

    Thanks

Hits count every access to a redirect. There is no filtering.
