Question about language + paypal-email

Hello there,
You can change your site’s language in Settings > General. This will change the language in the entire shop.

For PayPal, make sure to change the email address in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > PayPal > PayPal email > Define – Email address to receive payment.

If this is already changed to the correct one, make sure to check your PayPal account for some settings that might still be affecting this. Their support might also be able to help you further.

For the email, I am not sure how the customers get that email address. Can you explain?

Well, I tried bying something from my own shop, and on the paypal receipt it says that I have payed xxx$ to my email. Would like it better if my shop name was there, and not my private email that I set up paypal with.

Can you share a screenshot of that email? I’m asking as I’d like to check whether that email is coming from WooCommerce or PayPal ??.

Also, can you share a copy of your status report as found under **WooCommerce > Status**?

The email is coming from paypal, it is the receipt. Usually when I pay with paypal I also get that email, but with the shop name, and not their private email.
I get my private email (but the wrong one, even though i uodated everything yesterday and again today

But it is weird, i linked my email again, and it is still the wrong email. Maybe it is some days before it updates? But still would like to hide it.

Yes, those won’t translate automatically. Nothing will be affected by this change other than the menu and the site name.

Tried to buy something from myself today again. I have put in my correct email in the payments tab / paypal in woocommerce, but payments still go to my former email. Any way to fix this?

This is something that you need to check with PayPal support. We do not have control over their email.

For the payment, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
