Question about lightbox

Hi Damian,
I wonder, is there a way how to open the images in the thumbnail gallery just inside the content area of the page? I mean without filling the whole screen (in lightbox). The opened images and the buttons “previous” and “next” would be in the content area only. So you can list through the images and still see the menu and header of the web. I hope I wrote it in an understandable way (english is not my first language).

I am looking for a gallery plugin like this for a long time without success.
