    Hello –

We have a client site that was recently published that has WF installed. “Learning Mode” has already completed and the Firewall extended protection was activated on the day of install.

However, reviewing “Live Traffic: All Traffic” logs, there seems to be an issue on this particular website because there are maybe just a handful of IP’s showing up, mostly related to pings from Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/externalhit_uatext.php

But after reviewing the Google Analytics account for this site, there were 929 New Users who have visited the site in the past 30 days – but none of these interactions are showing up in Live Traffic?

WP Rocket & Cloudflare are being used, but a few other client sites have similar setups (including our own site) – this is the only site this is happening on though.

    Any ideas?

    Hello again –

This issue is still happening and can’t seem to figure out what is happening. Here is a screenshot of an entry from “Live Traffic” where I had the site in an Incognito window browsing the site:

    Screenshot

I did an IP lookup and it is an IP that belongs to Cloudflare, it is not my IP.

This is the same for all other visitors to the site, it is just showing just a handful of different Cloudflare IP’s. Any idea why this is happening?

    Thanks

Ok, after some reading I wound up having to change the setting in “General Wordfence Options” to “Use the Cloudflare “CF-Connecting-IP” HTTP header to get a visitor IP. Only use if you’re using Cloudflare.“.

This is the first time I’ve ever change this setting and not use the default. I have one other site that is using WP Rocket + Cloudflare where this issue is not happening and I didn’t have to change this setting. Not sure what the difference is.

At least now visitor IP’s are now showing on the site in question.

    Thanks

I have a similar problem … except that Live traffic shows no activity whatsoever. I know there is plenty of it, because I just got an email (as admin of the site) that there was an unusual # of attacks on the website within the last 10 minutes. Wonder if there could be a plugin conflict?
