Question about loading time

  • The site is https://www.pyramidcountry.com

    I want it so the home page only loads 10 posts at a time… then like a bar that says loading or something then loads the next 10 and so on

    Basically just something so it doesn’t load all 100 posts at once and take forever

    Ideas?

  • Look at Infinite Scroll, a Module of current version of JetPack plugin by WP – set posts per page to ten.

    Most WP web masters will only load 10 posts at a time, exactly for that reason. If you set our site to load the most recent 10 posts. there will me a >more tag at the bottom of the post page.

    Go to Dashboard>settings>reading> set your blog posts to 10

    I don’t want the “more tag” or “next”

    I want it to load ten…. then another ten… then another ten

    Anything like that… to increase loading time, and look clean… any ideas would help

    But I don’t want the 10 posts and the bottom deal that you have to click on for next or previous or whatever
