I am using your plugin from past couple of months. Attachments were not showing before in Media library which is great but after updating to the latest version from the version 1.0.11, Attachments start showing in the Media. Not sure this issue is something related to your plugin or it’s an issue on my end.

Kindly please check and let me know what’s the cause of it.

    Thanks,
    Yasir

    Hi @yasglobal,
This is quite funny to be honest, we got a lot of feedback before saying that audio files are not being aded to Media Library – and this is wrong. That’s why we have modified the plugin and now information about it’s is being added there. Based on your comment I see that some people might have other requirements. I might try to add option to configure it – but in future. For now, if you would like to skip adding files in Media Library, you can save audio files on S3 – it will then work.

    Hi @tstachlewski

Can you tell me which filter to add to skip these files to be shown in media so, i can add that filter in functions.php for now till then you will add this feature in the future release.

    Thanks,
    Yasir

    Hi @yasglobal,
It’s not filter, it’s another option in configuration window. There is something like ‘S3 Storage’ – if you will select this, it means that audio files will be saved on AWS S3 storage service, not on local wordpress sever, and they won’t be added to Media Library.

We are not looking to use S3 option just we want to hide from media library, so just help us with some variable and we may do our custom development or create a filter in function.php

    Hi,
There is no filter which could be used for this. So the current options are:
    1) Wait for next plugin release
    2) Use S3
    3) Revert the plugin version to older one, when Media Library was not supported.

    hi,

Thanks for quick reply, another issue is on every single change it creates a version for that audio file, sometimes we have more than 20 revisions for a blog post, and let say yesterday we have posted 3 blog posts and total files are created around 40+. here is my concern is also about the disk space utilization, even if we go to S3 we might have to pay for every byte.
my suggestion is just create a audio file only after blog post published.

    Hi @yasglobal,
This should not be the case. The name of the audio contains the ID of the post. So when you update the post, also audio should be updated. Are you sure that there are multiple audio files for single post/page?

Closing issue. If the problem will appear again with the latest plugin version, please let me know.
