Question about purging the cache

    Hi! I’m running WP-Optimize 3.1.2 in WordPress 5.5. I have the JavaScript and CSS minify features enabled. If I purge the cache, will the “Preload” function run automatically? (I have preload enabled) Also, will the minified JavaScript and CSS files be cleared?

  • @tomdkat No the minified JS and CSS files will not be cleared however it will clear the cached files and you’ll have to run the Preload button manually.

    @tomdkat , this is possible, if you want to.

    On my website, the preload runs automatically. I have “Activate scheduled cache preloading” checked and set the schedule to cache lifespan.

    So when I manually purge cache, it preloads as it senses the end of cache lifespan.
