Question about selecting Jetpack Portfolios and Custom Post Types in Setting

  • Hello,

    I’m currently using the Revive Old Posts plugin v2.0.2, and I’ve found the “Select Post Type(s) to Republish” option under General/Filter Options.

    I have two questions and hope you can assist:

    1. Is it possible to select the Portfolio post type from the Jetpack plugin within this setting? Currently, I don’t see this post type as an option.
    2. I also use the Custom Post Type UI plugin to create some custom post types. Is there a way for these custom post types to appear as selectable options in this section?

    Regarding your first question, could you please confirm the exact Jetpack plugin you’re using for the Portfolio post type? This will help us try to replicate the issue on our end and find a suitable solution.

    As for your second question, I’ve gone ahead and opened a ticket with our development team to investigate the possibility of making custom post types created with the Custom Post Type UI plugin appear as selectable options in the “Select Post Type(s) to Republish” section. We’re looking closely into it and will keep you updated.

    Thanks for getting back to me!

    1. I’m using the Jetpack – WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth plugin. However, the Portfolio custom post type it provides doesn’t fully meet my needs.
    2. I’d really like to see the Revive.so – Bulk Rewrite and Republish Blog Posts plugin support custom post types. Most similar plugins currently don’t support this feature. I believe adding this capability would make it far more versatile.

    For now, I’m creating custom post types using the method outlined in this article: How to Create Custom Post Types in WordPress. Thanks a lot for your team’s continued support on this!
