question about site/file

  • I have 1 domain name but have couple files under one domain name
    Some one tired to bill me 3 because she said I have 3 sites.
    Who is correct?

    /home/domainanme/public_html/Sale?(WP 5.4.2 –?46.29 MB?– 1,910 files)
    /home/domainanme/public_html/adminonly?(WP 5.4.2 –?255.21 MB?– 10,535 files)
    /home/domainanme/public_html/fake?(WP 5.4.2 –?81.5 MB?– 5,289 files)

    This is not a technical issue, but a CONTRACTUAL one. Generally speaking, in a free market, a seller is free to charge whatever they want… and the buyer is free to take their business to whoever is willing to accept the price he buyer is willing to pay.

    So while I don’t know of a single shared hosting provider that charges for every single WordPress installation in sub-folders as your host seems to want to charge you, it’s their prerogative if they choose to charge as such.

    And you’re free to move to a new host that won’t snoop into your site to count files and folders and charge you this way.
