Hey, I have 2 questions regarding this plugin:

    1. I have to import 2000+ users, and also send them an email telling them about the new website. I’m concerned that sending out 2000 emails in a short amount of time will trigger the spam filters of the receiving customers. What would you recommend?

    2. I’m unable to import the billing/shipping details, specifically first name and country. Some other people have raised the same question I think. Has there been a solution found for this? Basically, when the customer logs in, I want the billing and shipping details already entered and ready for him.

    Thanks!

    akhil_kalsh,

Good morning, I answer you point by point:
    1. You should use a SMTP server that should be able to support all this mail sendings.
    2. Use the correct meta_keys in each column (as I have said before in other questions).

I am preparing a new version which includes in the documentation tab this information in order to prevent answering the same.

Thanks for using this plugin, the update will be available in some hours.

Thanks! I updated to the new version, and everything is working perfect, except that mails are not getting sent out anymore.

Is this a known issue? I changed nothing else.

    akhil_kalsh,

There is no change about mail sending.

So it should work as before.

I’ve tried uploading about 5 times now, no emails.

    akhil_kalsh,

Have you configured the correct SMTP parameters?

I tried both the “Send emails of this plugin via SMTP.” and “Use the PHP mail() function to send emails.” options, none of them work.

The “Return Path” parameter is checked.

    SMTP Host: localhost
    SMTP Port: 25
    Encryption: No encryption
Authentication: No: Do not use SMTP authentication.

Sorry, the problem is with my Email rather than the plugin. Thanks for your help.

    akhil_kalsh,

Surely some spam filter is taking your messages.

    Change to another SMTP.
