Question about Subscriptions & Memberships

Sorry if this question is not being asked in the appropriate place. I’m just not sure where to get the support needed on the premium WooThemes plugins needed to resolve the issue…
We just installed the WooThemes subscription plugin and… disappointment! You can’t create a variable length subscription, nor does it seem possible to tie it to a set of other products!
Subscriptio by RightPress by looks like it might do the trick but I’m not sure and so, but here’s the question:
The client wants the site to be set up so that the user “subscribes” to artists on her site, so that said user would get a custom painting by one of the artists they’ve selected for each month and a Membership that would last the duration of their subscription. In other words, if the user selects 7 artists, they’d get a 7 month subscription and membership, which they’d pay for in a recurring fashion until the 7 months run out.
Basically, the user would go to each artist’s page and say ‘add,’ and in adding the artist to the cart, what they’re actually doing is adding a month to their subscription. When they check out, what they’re actually charged for is the subscription. I’m thinking this could be done by setting the Artists up as $0 products, and then having each artist tied to one month of subscription, which would be $250.
But… my concern is that even though Subscriptio seems able, what it MIGHT do is just create 7 separate subscriptions for the user, rather than just one 7-month subscription, which defeats the whole purpose and puts us back at square one.
So… does anyone know of a plugin that can allow a user to add 7 artists (or 4, or 8), and have that number become the number of months the subscription and membership lasts? Can that be set up without a lot of custom coding?
The alternative at this point does seems to be a lot of custom coding… and unexpected expense for the client.
