Question about themes (lack of options under certain circumstances)

  • A IT savvy friend of mine registered a domain name for me via GoDaddy and “attached” WordPress to it (please excuse the fact that I don’t know what I am talking about).

    Unfortunately, this friend doesn’t know much about WordPress.

    So another friend and I logged in last night and she was surprised to see that WordPress, perhaps due to the way this whole thing was configured, only gave me a choice of five free themes. None of them allowed me to upload my own header.

    What did I do wrong here?
