Question about using custom elements with Elementor

  • New to Elementor, I reviewed your documentation and didn’t see any references to blocks or templates to use for custom functionality from other plugins (ex. registration plugins often add custom login and registration pages). Can you give me some idea of how those would be integrated into Elementor pages?

  • There are many plugins that are already integrated to Elementor. In the case of other plugins, you must identify if there is shortcode which can be used in Elementor.

    Thanks for your reply Laura. To be more clear, I have a custom plugin, and other plugins which add some things like registration pages, widgets, etc. You’re saying the only way these plugins’ additions can be used with Elementor is if they provide shortcodes? There’s no way, for example, to add custom function calls to be run on a template created by Elementor?

    Other than 3rd party plugin which are integrated with Elementor.
    You can try adding custom code to our HTML/Shortcode widget within Elementor editor.
