    Hello!

I have a question about support for WebP images.

It is written that you need to convert images to WebP through the Optimus plugin.

If I convert pictures into WebP format by another plugin. Will caching also be supported for webp images?

In my case, I use the Imagify plugin to optimize images. He can convert pictures into WebP format.

Creates a <picture> tag instead of img. And inside the tag there are 2 versions of the picture (WebP and the usual jpeg / png).

Yes, the Cache Enabler plugin supports caching WebP formatted images by another plugin. If you’re using the <picture> element with different image formats then you won’t need to create an additional cached version for WebP because the browser will choose the best match (instead of having the server deliver the accepted cached page).
