Question concerning Stripe

    Hi,
    I am running a website that offers payment for commercial products with credit cards. For that, I added the stipe extention to Woo and that works well. Later I added a page where visitors can donate to a social project. For that, I use a plugin called “Charitable” which also uses Stripe.

    Now the donations are getting more and more and the tax says, that I must use two different bank accounts. One commercial and one for the donations.

    As there are many plugins included in the payment system, I do not know exactly where to start with the second payment gateway. Has anybody a hint on which support on which website I should ask?
    – Woocommerce (that would be here)
    – WP Charitable (WP plugin)
    – WooCommerce Stripe-Gateway (WP-Plugin)
    – Charitable – Stripe Payment Gateway (WP-Plugin)

    Or should I ask Stripe directly?

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Are you using the same Stripe account for accepting product payments and donations?

    If you are, the starting point would be contacting Stripe directly and explaining the payment system on your site. You could ask if you can connect multiple bank accounts to the same Stripe account and select which bank account you want to send the money to, or if you will require separate Stripe accounts: one for product payments and the other for donations.

    Once you have this information, you can set your plugins accordingly.
