QUESTION : Custom Fields / Featured & Thumbnail

  • I was thinking if does it really have to be uploaded on the MEDIA FILES directory, the files I use for the FEATURE and THUMBNAIL

    If you look at the image closely, there is this field called FEATURE and THUMB. They are links from MEDIA DIRECTORY of WP Theme. I was wondering if it’s okay to use a different directory like PHOTOBUCKET.

    This concern is regarding file size that might consume my disk quota for my hosting.

    Are you on freehosting?

    Your site doesn’t have many images, so why do you want to link outside the site?

    goto yoursite.com/wp-content/uploads/ (can see the name in the image – i avoided linking though)

    You have indexing on so anyone can browse the files, and that’s not a huge amount you have there.

    How much does the host provide?

    If you just want to use images from another folder it’s proberly advisable to seek help with the plugin author…

    I am looking at the future. At some point, my disk quota will reach it’s maximum.
