    Hello Lerrie,
First of all, I apologize for the late reply – I was on vacation for a week and returned yesterday.
Usually, special characters (unless exotic, like any asian languages) display fine. It may be that your server is missing some php extensions to cope with them for creating the PDF. Do you see any warnings/red flags on the Status page of the plugin?

Another reason for this could be when you copy-pasted this into one of the boxes on the settings page, this sometimes results in unexpected output. If this is the case, try manually retyping it, as this may also fix that.

Let me know if either of the solutions (and which) works for you or if you need more help!

    Hi Ewout,

Thanks for your reply and excuse me for my late reply.

I don’t see any red flags, only some orange flags for:
    MBString extension
    opcache
    GMagick or IMagick

I did not paste the special character to the settings page, it gets the character from the country selection of the woocommerce order.

Do you think the orange flags are causing the problem?

Yes, installing MBString will most likely solve your issue.
I also strongly recommend GMagick or IMagick.
