question marks in date string

  • Hi, guys!
    when I switch my blog to ru_RU and call get_the_date(), I get question marks instead of January, Monday etc, but expect Январь, понедельник …
    when I remove this filter qtranxf_dateFromPostForCurrentLanguage, then get_the_date()
    works like simple php.date() function.
    What could it be ? Could you suggest me how to solve it ?

    QTX still uses outdated date/time framework inherited from the original qtranslate. The new incoming version of qtx will have that framework re-designed according to the latest WP date/time framework.

    Your problem may have something to do with the PHP version, I am not sure. Playing with date/time options may help.
