Question not exactly related to the plugin .. or that's what I think

  • I was just wondering if there is a way to incorporate some of the icons of this plugin into the Comments section of the WP site.

    When I go to write or edit a comment by me or other person, what I see is this window and the buttons in grey that you see there:

    There is not much to edit a comment, there is ‘bold’, italics, a way to place an image, but I would like for instance to place a link inside the comment and that link to open in a blank page so it doesn’t take the visitor from the website.

    Just something that It may not be possible, but if there is a way to add some more functionality to the comment editor would be nice.

    Hi samuelr2010,

    I like your suggestion. I believe what Marventus (and I) thought you meant was using a RTE on the comment section of the front-end of the website. We have tried this before… and failed because of comment replies not working properly.

    However, I believe what you are describing is the actual comment editor from within the WP dashboard. I’ve never tried to add a RTE to this section of WP… but I will certainly try it.. and see what we can do ??
