Question on fully Deleting a Page

I recently made a page for my website that was entitled “wigs” the full url was “https://www.arda-wigs.com/wigs/” However, I had added a ton to is and decided to completely start over.

When I made the new page, it would not let me keep the url previously used and instead made the url “https://www.arda-wigs.com/wigs-2/”

Its silly, but I would like for the page to be the same as before. I can’t change it and I’m guessing that is because somewhere on my database the file “wigs” still exists.

I know that technically if people type in “https://www.arda-wigs.com/wigs/” it will redirect to the new page, but then it will change the url in the header to the “wigs-2.” I don’t want people to get confused at all about why that is, so I would like to figure out how to change it overall.

I hope that makes sense. I have a heck of time getting questions across online ??
