    Hello,
I have a question about the last item on your list of features: “Unenroll the user from all common groups when the course access is expired.”

Can you confirm that I’m understanding this feature correctly: A user enrolls in a course, which automatically adds them to a group. When the course access expires, the user will now be unenrolled from both the course and removed from the group – is that correct? (I don’t know what “common group” means.)

(The way it is now, and which I don’t want but can’t figure out how to change, is: the user enrolls in a course/is added to group. When the course access expires the user still remains “Enrolled” in the course, the course progress is reset to 0%, and the user is still in the group. And the course grid still shows the user as “Enrolled.”)

I have not installed this plugin yet, but am very interested in this feature if it does what I hope it does. Thanks!

    Hi there @lorilself,

That’s exactly correct. ?? So when the course access expires the user will be removed from any group that has that course as part of the group.

    Thanks!

Great, will give this a test run then – thanks!

Hello again. I’ve activated the plugin on a test site and have enabled the group unenroll module. (Now I’m waiting for a test group course to expire tomorrow to see what happens.)

In the meantime, based on some comments I saw on the LD facebook forum, I checked the course progress details for users and saw that the “details” link for the courses is now missing. Do you know if this is related to some other module in the plugin? I only enabled the one mentioned above, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that some options are auto enabled, while others you can toggle on/off yourself.

I do need to be able to reset specific user activity from time to time so need to have the “details” option so if there is a way to fix this please let me know.

    Thank you!

Update: The group unenroll worked perfectly, so that’s great and solves the problem of my having to manually remove group users each month, thank you!

I see on the Changelog that you’ve fixed the missing Details link on the user profile. I doublechecked that I have the latest version installed, but I still don’t have the Details link. Is there something else that I should check that may still be conflicting and causing this error?

    Thanks!

@lorilself did your secondary issue get resolved regarding the details link?

Thanks for checking back. I ended up not using the plugin because of the “Details” link issue. Hopefully it’s fixed by now, so I’ll add it back to my list of things to explore when I have time, thanks.
