Question: Support for custom statuses (Event Flow)

Are there any plans to update custom statuses like are created with Event Flow? As a news site we have 15 or so custom statuses we use to manage our writers and our curation process. Also, is there any plan to enable detection of duplicate posts; ones that have been fetched but get trashed for example? I’m getting 30 or 40 duplicates per feed pull currently. Lots to like about this plugin, you’ve done some nice work.
