  • 1. I don’t personally rate anything in my posts. I write a post about a website or resource, and then users rate/review that website or resource. So, can I remove the Overall Rating feature completely, so that blank stars don’t show in my posts?

    2. I want to display the average user rating and number of reviews after the post title (in the actual post AND in archives). The video tutorial shows that it uses the format ” ***** [ Total:50 Average: 4.5/5] “. Can we format it to ” ***** 4.5 (50 reviews) ” instead?

    3. Do you have widgets for most commented/reviewed posts? Recent reviews? Most popular reviews? Highest rated posts? And separate from each other–not combined in one widget with tabs.

    4. I am creating custom archive/category pages with intro text and image at the top. Is this article about a shortcode or block: https://yetanotherstarsrating.com/yasr-pro/yasr-custom-rankings/ ? And is this something I can show on custom archive pages, in a shortcode, to display the 5 highest rates posts in that particular post category?

    5. Is there a way to show your widgets with featured image thumbnails, instead of just titles?

    6. The video tutorial shows usage with shortcodes, but the documentation says to use blocks instead. Is there a tutorial for that?

    And is this the only place to get support if I buy the pro version?

    You’re asking about some pro feature here, and due to forum rules, I can’t talk about it here.
    Feel free to leave a comment everywhere in the YASR official site.

    1) Yes, you can just don’t use Overall Rating

    2) Yes, it is possible in the settings -> Custom Texts

    3) A lot of changes are coming with widget with WordPress 5.8, I will add new ones.
    For now, no.

    4) Pro version, can’t talk about this here.

    5) Not yet.

    6) You can use both, the decision is up to you. There is no tutorial for the blocks, not yet.

    7) after the purchase, you will be able to contact me directly.

    I suggest to install YASR and if you wish you can try the trial version for 14 days, you can find answer to all this question simply playing around a while.
