• Hi, so my question is:

    With this plugin, it asks for my GTM container ID. Does this mean oncei insert that, i can remove my google tag manager from my wordpress website headers, or does adding this contianer id to this plugin not inject my google tag manager code manager script into all my header pages?

    Question 2:

    Your plugin says I need to insert this .php script into the opening body tag of my wordpress website. How do I do this exacly, as i don’t want to break my site by inserting it into the opening body of my parent theme’s opening body tag? I was instructed elsewhere that i was recommended to put this code into opening body tag is why i’m choosing custom. This is why I ask, because it says this on your plugin:

    “If you select ‘Custom’ you need to edit your template file and add the following line just after the opening <body> tag:
    <?php if ( function_exists( ‘gtm4wp_the_gtm_tag’ ) ) { gtm4wp_the_gtm_tag(); } ?>

    I sure as heck don’t want to mess with my code though because i don’t want the site to break. Any way to insert it easily on Ocean wp and where so i don’t break the site?

    Question 3: Can i speak with you on the phone quickly. I’d like to pay you to explain certain things ot me about this plugin and google tag manager implemtantion of it. Thanks let me know. Please email me direct contact info that is private.

    Hi,

    If you enter your GTM container ID into the plugin settings, you can safely remove your manually added container code as GTM4WP will inject it into the proper places.

    You can contact me on gtm4wp.com if you wish to provide the URL of your site in private but in most cases, the Codeless option should work and with that, you will not need to change your themes files. But rules of thumb: if you are unsure where and how to put this one line of PHP code into your theme files, you should hire a WordPress expert who will help you doing that.

    I am sorry but I am not available for any phone call, also currently I am not available currently to any paid project. But if you have questions about GTM, feel free to use this forum or any unofficial help forum like:
