    Hi,

I like this simply “Quick Event Manager” very much, it’s easy to use. And, I think if you could add more detail features to it, that will be wonderful. I have some questions and requests as below, can you help?

    – Is there any possible that I can add event(s) from Front-end for certain “Role” (for example, admin, editor…) instead of only add at back end? Like, short code insert into a page????

    – Is there any possible that the “registration form” shows up only when a user logged in (auto filled in the form for name, email and use the user avatar which in user’s profile, if possible), instead of for public user to register and/or random avatar, or this could be a setting option?? Can you also add Captcha into the form as well?

    – Is there any possible that some certain Role(s) could know who registered to what event from frond-end or like a “Booking” page, users may know which events that they registered (like, short code insert into a page), instead of just a name list without any information at back-end under event page???

Looking forward to see more features add to this great plugin. Thank you very much for your hard working to create such nice plugin.

  • Wow!

Adding events at the front end is possible. There is a plugin that will do this: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/form-to-post/. I could take a look and see if I can adapt it.

It’s possible to add some filters to the registration form – I have just uploaded an update that has better form support, I will look at adding your suggestion. This update can also display the names of people who have resistered on the event and in the event editor. That’s a start I hope.

I’ve got a load of other things people have asked me to add to the plugin so it might be a little while until the next update but if you email me through the plugin site I can send you things for testing as I include them.

Thank you for your thank you

    Hi, Aerin:

Thank you very much for your quick respond and the updated version (have already upgraded). Thanks for adding Captcha to the form as well, really appreciate it.

I am using “Frontier Post” plugin, you might want to take a look at it as well.

Really hope that all the features I requested above will add to the newer version soon.

    Thanks again!

I’ve got the form sorted so people can upload their own events. If you email me via the plugin website (https://quick-plugins.com) I will send it to you for testing.

A month has gone by any nothing heard from wpinklady. So I’m closing this down
