Questions and Responses not working

  • Hello, having an issue with the questions and responses and also the away message.

    1. Questions and Responses – set this up ages ago, deactivated it and then decided to use it again. I have updated the questions and responses via the Facebook business page and they are not updating on my site. Instead, it is using my old questions and then not providing an answer it just sends a blank reply, and that we will get back to you soon.

    2. Away message – so I set the times that I will be away, it is saying on my website that I am always away. I have no deactivated it fully and it seems to be working but this isn’t the solution if I get messages outside of my normal working day or weekends.

  • I can confirm this issue. I just installed this plugin on a new site and replaced the default frequently asked questions and responses. However, it doesn’t display the new questions.

    2 weeks later and still no response from Facebook! Very dissapointing!

    Thanks for your patience while we looked into the two issues you reported.

    Regarding Frequently Asked Questions:
    – I’ve had a look at the Questions displayed in your installation of the Chat plugin, and then visited your Page on Facebook. The questions in the Chat plugin seem to match the ones on your FB Page – were you able to successfully update them?

    – As for the Responses not being returned via the Chat plugin – thanks for flagging. We can reproduce this issue, and we are looking into it. I will update here when we have some news regarding this.

    Regarding the Away message – this does not seem to be appearing on either your Chat plugin, nor your FB Page, so I guess this is working as intended now?

    Experiencing issues with the instant reply/AWAY MESSAGE!! The Instant Reply message is turned on and working properly, but the Away Message isn’t switching over to the Plugin. *Our scheduled Out of Office time is also correct in the “Available box”, when it lists when our page is scheduled to be away next- it’s just not switching over to actually second that second assigned message.
