    Hello!
    First, awesome plugin with a big future imho!
    Some feedback after Install:

    1.) When will localisation be possible? I couldn’t find a pot-file
    2.) If you select “ListView” for Startup for an catalogue, it uses the ThumnailView, the “DetailView” is not present.
    3.) In Admin-Area trim the Description of Items, it costs a lot of time to scroll down….
    4.) in ThumnailView Provide a Link to the Item (e.g. Make the Title Clickable)
    5.) in DetailsView the Description overfloats the Container
    6.) Support the builtin WordPresssearch!
    7.) Change the Button “Edit Product” to e.g. “Save Changes” because its a little bit confusing imho
    8.)How to access a Single Product via url?

    Thats all for now ??

    Hi Madie,

    Sorry to hear that there was trouble upgrading again. The problem with the images has to do with the fact that they’re stored in the plugin folder, which gets re-written on upgrade. They’re supposed to be copied to a temporary folder, and then put back after upgrading, but maybe that didn’t work 100% correctly on your site?

    I took a look at your site just now, and it seems like it’s almost back to normal. Clicking on a category leaves only the items from that category, and all the products have images. How did you manage to put the images back in?

    Yes seems like I am having bad luck with upgrading. ?? I really don’t know why it happens but this is the second time I had to insert all the pics again. The only way I could add the images again is if I added it as a secondary image at the bottom and it would somehow automatically update it at the top. But then I had to go back into the product page again and delete it under the secondary image again. This took some time…

    The categories definitely does not work on my side, but I am glad it does work when you tried. Could any of this be because I work on a MAC?

    Anyway, everything is up and running again and I have hundreds more products to load. Oh… and I think I am not going to upgrade again. :-))))

    Hi I just installed and activated your plugin and want to upload my products from an excel spreadsheet. However it does not seem to work. When I select the spreadsheet with my list of products and I click “Add New Products” the page refresh, but nothing happens.
    I did set up my list in excel to have corresponding column headings ie.
    Name Description Price Category Sub Category

    Can you please help?

    Hi,

    Sorry about the trouble with the spreadsheet upload. It could be a problem with the settings on the upload folder; if the file can’t be uploaded to the ‘spreadsheets’ folder, then the spreadsheet can’t be read. Are there any error messages? Switching the spreadsheet upload to using the built-in WordPress uploader is on the to-do list for the next version.

    Thanks for the reply. In terms of error messages, there is none. When I click on add products, the page simply refresh, but no products are added to the product list.
    Will it work if I upload the spreadsheet manually via FTP to the spreadsheets folder? I assume I will find the folder in the plugin files?

    I had a quick look at the plugin files and I do see my spreadsheet in the “product-sheets” folder, but no products in the product list.

    Would you be able to send your spreadsheet to [email protected]?

    I’ll take a look and try to upload it with WordPress set to debugging mode, so that any errors that are coming up can be found. Thank you!

    Hi, I’ve a problem with the products images in Ultimate Product Catalogue Plugin. I can upload just one image for each product. I’ve the place for the thumbnais on the ad detail page, but I can’t upload more than one photo. What’s wrong? Where can I upload more? ??

    Additional images is one of the premium images, sorry about that. Let me know if you’d like me to post the CSS to hide the additional images area.

    Other question: the price not visible for me on the ad detail page. Is it ok, or I can turn on it somewhere?

    I didn’t realize that the price isn’t displayed on the additional details page. I’ll make a note to add displaying it as an option during the next update.

    Is there a search function availlable now? it was mentioned in the very beginning posts of this thread as topic 6. neither wordpress standard nor search everything plugin can find products.
