    Hi,

As an Elementor Pro user I’m very interested in using your plugin to create an Artists/Crafters directory on one of my websites but I have some questions first. Can you help me?

    1. Is it possible to disable the “required” option for the location field? Some of the users will only have online businesses so they won’t have a physical address.

    2. Is it possible to add a store/workshop to several categories/child categories from the front-end? I need users to be able to add themselves in many categories/child categories like Crafting > Cosplay, Larp, Medieval – etc… and some might also be sewers so they will add their store to the Sewing category, etc.

I’m ok with getting premium add-ons as long as they help me build the kind of directory I imagine.
    Thank you!

    Hi @vinem,

    1. This is not possible in the same CPT (custom post type), however with the CPT manager and the location manager you can disable the location input for a whole CPT, to make a location less CPT, you could call this “online businesses”.

    2. The front-end add listing form has a category input, users can set as many categories as they want or if you have the pricing manager installed you can limit the number of allowed categories and even what categories are allowed per price package.

If you have any more questions just let me know.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi again,
    Thank you for your answer.

I was actually thinking of just making it optionnal so users could put a physical address OR a website (or both if they have both). If I put an address field it will always be required?

Aaaah. I think I get it. You mean the form will be different but it’s not a category.
So, users with physical address would use let’s say a “physical buninesses” form, and if they’re online they’d use an “online businesses” form, but I can put the exact same fields (except the address one) in both and people will be able to choose their categories, etc. and the stores, physical or online, will be displayed all together in the categories.
    Am I right?
If I am, I can go with that, I don’t mind creating several forms. I will have to anyway. I’ll just have to make them all in double, one for the physical and one for the online, right?

Another question about the map system. Can I import my own SVG icons?

I have other questions about the Membership plans you propose.
I saw that it says “Unlimited domains”. Does it mean I can run your plugin on several WordPress websites (I have 2)? And what about the “Price lock”? Because there is 15% off until the 31st december so will I always pay the same price (with the 15% discount) or will it go back to the original price in the future?

Sorry for all my questions, I’ve been working for a year on my project and already spent a lot of money, I just want to be sure your plugin is the right one for what I want to achieve here.

Thank you and have a nice day!

    Hi Vinem,

and the stores, physical or online, will be displayed all together in the categories

No, each post type will have its own categories (even if you add the same categories for both post type, they’ll be considered different categories) and you cannot mix online and physical businesses.

A solution many users adopted is to ask for the online businesses to enter at least the city they operate in as the address. That way you can show online businesses and physical businesses together.

Does it mean I can run your plugin on several WordPress websites

Yes and if you use the discount now, you’ll ay the same price next year.

    Thanks

    Hi Paolo,

    Thank you for your answer.
I think I have a better view at how it works now and you got yourself a new member ??

    And thanks again to Stiofan!
