• Hello,

The plugin makes it possible to place people in a queue when the event is sold out. You can also have a different confirmation text displayed in the settings. However, it gives the same message as when registering for an event. The customer also receives the same email as a ‘normal’ registration. As result, the customer does not clearly see that he is placed in the queue. How can I make sure that the difference between registering for an event and standing in the queue becomes clear?

Can you share screen shots ( any reputable image sharing service can be linked.

Certainly in testing the messages are different as per settings. It may be worth changing your messages and re-saving.

This is true and it would be good if there was a feature. As an open source project you are welcome to contribute code and we will consider it for inclusion.

Alternatively, you could become a paid customer and we can discuss additional paid enhancements, however please note, no discussion about paid feature are allowed here, so you would need to contact us directly.

As mentioned, try changing the non working text and re saving.

Also – is there anything different than default on the rest of registration settings ( share them all )

    Also, about the email.

I had a look at the code and it is complex, mainly because the wait list is dynamic, i.e. if you add more places then attendees automatically are not on the wait list or if people drop out and set themselves as non attending ( or my non payment ) then attendees will attending.

In these circumstances to work ‘properly’ would be for such status changes to email as well.

Of course such after the fact changes could be done manually.

    Haii,

Thank you for checking this with me. It’s not helpen to change that part and re-save.

I disable the funtionality for now.. I hope that it will be fixed one day. It’s a realy cool feature!

Thanks for letting us know. I’m not sure why the second one is not working. It does on our test systems.

Looking at the code, the only way waiting list after registration message is overridden is if you have moderation turned on.

Do you have moderation turned on?

Sorry I can’t find a solution, or replicate the issue you are seeing. Very strange.
