WP Mail SMTP does not queue the emails for delivery. Our plugin attempts to hand them off to the mailer service immediately. Our Pro version, however, does have the ability to resend emails. It’s part of the Email Log feature, which is not available in the free version of the plugin.

When you have trouble getting email, the first step is to check the debug logs. If there is an issue communicating with the mailer service, the debug logs will often show an error message that can help point to the problem. Check out this guide on our site. The debug log may provide additional details to you that can help you while you’re troubleshooting.
