• Hi all, I have been using AMP for a few months now, this morning Google sent me 5 critical errors and 2 non-critical. I see they’ve been there since around November. My sense is that this would all be too hard to fix and I should just disable AMP. It is disappointing as I’m sure that it is not the intent of WordPress or Google to make this hard, but I just think it will be. So that’s my question, given the below info, how hard is this? I’m not a web developer, though I have good infrastructure skills. I set the site up myself (self hosted, with a purchased theme).

    The errors I get are:

Issue / Number of pages with issues
    Invalid CSS stylesheet / 1
Prohibited or invalid use of HTML Tag / 1
AMP mark-up missing or incorrect /1
Prohibited HTML Tag with AMP or equivalent / 1
Use of deprecated tags or attibutes (non-critical) / 39
Add AMP structed data, if supported / 2

    My site is https://www.tech-knowhow.com

What do you think, is this a plugin bug or is it something I’d have to fix?

FYI I’m using the YOAST Glue (in case that’s known to cause anything).

    Thanks.

I use Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP plugin

    Hello,

I also got an email from search console regarding the errors this morning.
2 of my post got errors
1- AMP markup missing or incorrect
2- User-authored JavaScript found on page
    3- Invalid CSS stylesheet
4- Invalid usage of AMP tags

But when I click each link to see details and run the test page, everything look ok.
Also compare codes to AMP reference, there is nothing incorrect.
The page test also confirm VALID AMP page. So I decide to change anything in the code and Resubmit to google.

I also test the code with https://validator.ampproject.org, it PASSES with AMP format but FAILS with AMP4AD format. (I am not sure what AMP4AD is).

Searching in google forum, a guy say don’t worry about AMP4AD validation. So,…? Just wait and see.

I think now is not a plugin problem, but it is a theme problem that is not compatible with AMP.
The theme i used is “Infinity Seo” by ThemeWisdom.
