Quick Cache ended up filling up my hard drive recently for some reason, using a whopping 22 gigabytes.

I’ve been using this plugin for years on my site and server and never had this problem before.

Also, when I click to clear the cache, it says it does, but all the files are still there, so I ended up having to manually delete them.

For reference, my cache expiration time is set to 2 hours and I believe everything else is just the stock settings.

    Any ideas here?

There was a bug that was causing this issue, with temp files not getting properly cleared out of the cache, but we fixed that bug in the latest release (v150129).

Can you confirm that you’re running the latest release? If you are, please manually delete everything inside wp-content/cache/quick-cache/, then visit Quick Cache ? Plugin Options, click the “Restore” button to reset Quick Cache, and then re-enable Quick Cache and see if you’re still having this problem.

Awesome. I manually deleted the quick-cache folder contents and I did just notice I haven’t updated Quick Cache for the latest release. I’ll keep an eye on it just in case, but I’m sure that will fix it. ?? Thanks!

My pleasure! I’ll mark this issue as solved, but if you find there’s still a problem with the temp files getting left behind, feel free to reopen it. ??
