• Hello, out of all the chat plugin I’ve checked out, this one looks the best.

I had the chat shortcoded in a page, but it looked like if i left the page to check out another, I would no longer receive alerts or be shown online. My theme doesn’t allow widgets. I noticed if a private conversation in ongoing, it will remain open no matter what other page I go to. so I was wondering:

    1. Can the whole quick chat be in a window that can be minimized and x-ed out like the private conversation window?

that way the alerts can still come in when a new comment is posted. and once they X out, they’d be signed out. Also, when user1 wants to have a private chat with user2, user1 click on user2 and a pop up ask them if they are sure. once they click ok to accept, user1 start typing but user2 doesn’t receive anything unless they accept to start a private chat with user1.

    2. Is it possible to restrict user1 from typing until user2 accepts.
    3.

    1. It is possible but I personally don’t like “Facebook” approach and that’s why I made Quick Chat a bit different.

    2. Yes when user joins he can’t see what other user wrote until he joined until he reloads the page and private chat together with the page. This is technical limitation and something I will improve in the future.

    Regards
