Quick cookie question

    Hi Phil,

    I was looking at the advanced plugin settings after the latest update, and noticed that the custom cookie name option (which I haven’t tried) appends “ag_” to the beginning of the custom name. Are the normal (non-custom, default) Age Gate uses still age_gate and age_gate_failed? (That is, the default cookie names haven’t been changed to something starting with ag_, have they?) I just want to make sure my cookie notice is still correct.

    Hi @ate-up-with-motor,

    That’s been there a while, but no there’s no change to the default cookie names so your notice is all good if you’re using those. I just add the ag_ prefix to prevent clashes if someone sets their own.
