Hi. When I sub to a product and change its amount by normal EDIT, users get stock change notification.
With quick edit there is no notification sent.
I have “WooCommerce Availability Chart” installed too to display stock on product page.

  • @anateus Will you please elaborate this issue. What do you mean by normal edit and quick edit?

    1) Normal Edit
    2) Quick Edit
Then underneath you can see the quick edit fields.

    And the normal edit:

@anateus Try disabling the WooCommerce Availability Chart and check again. Let me know, whether the issue resolved.

Hi. I’ve disabled WC Availability Chart and it still won’t send notifications after doing a quick product edit. Notification was sent after normal edit.

Notification (after quick edit) was sent – after 30-40min delay. I will check that again. Notification after normal edit was sent instantly.

    Sure @anateus.

So far I noticed that any kind of stock edit other than “normal” (inside full product edit) causes no email notifications or makes them delayed (30min – 4h).
I believe that’s all I can do unless you have more questions.

@anateus I have learned that immediate alert mail is not set to the Quick Edit field. The cron has set at 30 mins span, and all edited “out of stock” notifications goes through the cron. That is why the email notification is getting delayed by 30mins.

Indeed, I’ve tested that several times and it sends notifications after 30 minutes. No idea why once it waited 4hrs.

@anateus Maybe it is causing due to something else.
If you face this issue again, do let us know. We will definitely try to see why is this happening.
