I tried that… it didn’t want to work.
I got so confused that I almost messed it up

Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.

Thanks Esmi – I use Chrome. This change still doesn’t want to take affect.
Everything else is working and changing fine.

I need: 1600 x 511

It currently shows: suggested height of 300 pixels

Your appear the be using the Decode theme. I’d suggest asking about this in https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/decode/

In the meantime, do not edit the theme itself. First create a child theme for your changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin.

In the header.php, it shows this:
