    Hi, can you make the dark mode be activated from the admin-bar? because it is more comfortable and quick to do it from there.
    I had to spend several minutes until I knew that this option was activated within the user options.
    Could you add a switch option to activate it quickly?

  • Hi there, thanks for trying out the plugin. An option to add it to the toolbar was added in a much earlier version I believe but was taken out because it didn’t really solve any UX issues. As the option is a user-based setting, it remains in the user settings page to turn on or off.

    The plugin does have multiple hooks available so if you’re able to, you can make an add-on to include a link in the toolbar. More information on hooks in the plugin can be found here: https://github.com/danieltj27/Dark-Mode/wiki.

    I understand, can I alter your plugin to do it faster and add a couple of options?

    Of course, you can make your own add-on plugin for Dark Mode and make use of the available hooks and filters to extend it however you’d like.

    The documentation that I linked to above should provide enough guidance of the various different options that you can take advantage of.
