Quick Post Widget in Page View

  • OK this is horribly weird. I use the quick post widget on the side bar with no issues at all. However, if I use it in page view with the associated shortcode it acts so strange. For example, when I have captcha enabled and guest access allowed, no matter what I do when I enter the correct captcha it brings up the red error message as if it is not right.

    BUT the post still goes through successfully and I am emailed the post to confirm it went through. Then, If i disable captcha and use the widget logged in as Admin I hit “Post” and I swear to jesus it posts over 500 times the same post!!!

    What do I do to correct this? I run the latest version of WordPress and use a theme called Easel. thanks!

  • haha, I’m having almost the opposite problem. Similar to you, it works on sidebar with no issues.

    But in-page, I get nothing! no post whatsoever.

    I also having the same problem. The widget works fine on side bar but nothing appears on pages. If anyone knows how to fix it please reply here.
