    Hi,

I’ve got a ACF custom field on my Product called “Decaffeinated”. It’s a “True/False” type. When this gets shown on the site. I get two checkbox with the labels “0” and “1”.

Is it possible, to just show a single checkbox with a label of “Decaffeinated” so it can be toggled on and off?

    Thankyou,

    Neil

    Hi @rctneil

Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.

Well, you can simply use one option “Decaffeinated” and apply it to the needed products. Use the “AND” logic for it, so when you check the term “Decaffeinated” it will show only products that have “Decaffeinated” applied to them. When unchecked it will show all of the products.

But if you want to make something like a switch you would need to use custom coding for it.

I don’t need to make a switch. Right now i’ve added a filter and it shows “Decaffeinted” as the label but I get two checkboxes. One for “0” and one for “1”. Other than being not very user friendly, I’d prefer to have a single checkbox instead of a list of two. Can this be acheived. I basically have this layout currently:

    Decaffeinated
    [ ] 0
    [ ] 1

    and I want:

    [ ] Decaffeinated

I do hope this makes more sense!

    Hi @rctneil

You could just create the select ACF field with any option that you would like to show as a filter term and apply it to the needed posts/products only.

But if you want to hide some filter term in a filter you can use exclude/include options – https://prnt.sc/F82-D_alJWWg

    Hi Victor,

Many thanks for answering. I do like your plugin but right now have two further questions before we purchase the Pro version:

    1. I have a product that has been assigned two terms from one of my taxonomies. I then have that taxonomy set as a set of checkboxes. If I select one or the other of the checkboxes then the product shows up correctly. If I select both checkboxes, the page goes to an “Oops! That page can’t be found.” and I see “error404” in the body class.
    2. When I check the checkbox for a term in the filter list, the main title of the page changes to show the name of the term. Eg, if I check “Colombia”, the page title shows as “Colombia”. I’d prefer it to stay as it was before any filters were applied.

Do you ahve any suggestions for how the first issue can be resolved and how we can adjust the second one?

If so then we are looking to purchase Pro!

    Thanks,

    Neil

    Hi @rctneil

We need any link to the page with the issues so we can check it, the second issue sounds like an SEO Rule applied but the free version doesn’t have SEO Rules.

Hi, Is there a private way I can contact you about this, the site is currently under development and is being worked on locally. I could get a version online put i can’t post the link publically.

If you let me know of a private way to contact you and send a link then i’m more than happy to do so.

@fesupportteam Any update on this? Just a need a private way to send you a link so you can take a look. We are serious about purchasing Pro, but need to ensure these issues are resolvable before we do so.

    Appreciate your time.

    Hi @rctneil

The rules on the forum is very strict about it.

    • Do not post email addresses, ask others to post their email, or solicit contacting people off the forums.
    • Do not post, offer, or ask for login information, even test IDs and test passwords. And do not offer off-site contact for the collection of those either.

We cannot break the rules, as it will be moderated, with future consequences. You can search the PRO version and ask there a pre-sale question.

@fesupportteam Hello Victor. Okay. That is understandable. I do not wish to break the rules.

BUT. I have asked two questions and you’ve stated that to give a proper answer you need a link to a page to see the issues. As the site is in development I cannot put out a public URL.

As I said before, I am willing to provide a URL but it must only be to you and not be public. I am just asking for you to provide a way for me to send you that URL in order for you to help me.

I cannot purchase Pro until I know it will fully meet our needs.

Do let me know how we can proceed and I am more than happy to go ahead.

    Many thanks,

    Neil
