    Hey,

thank you for the great plugin. I just have a quick question. I want to send out notifications to the author of a post when someone comments on it. So I went ahead and created a “New Comment” notification. I would also like to send out a mail if someone replies to a comment you’ve written. Luckily there is a notification for that called “reply to comment”. So far so good!

My question is, how can I prevent that when on my own post, a comment of mine gets answered I get two emails: one from the “New Comment” and one from the “reply to comment” notification?

    All the best,
    Mara

    Hi @ehuzy,
    Thanks for your message.

There isn’t a way to do this at present if you’ve set the New Comment notification to be sent to the Post Author, unfortunately. Sorry I can’t be more help.

Okay thank you a lot for your fast reply!

If you have something like that, you can put it on the requested features-list c: There could be a box like “Don’t send if one of these notifications are triggered as well” and then u can enter the names of other notifications. But it also seems like quite an edge-case to me.

    A wonderful day to you!

    Hi @ehuzy,
    That’s ok.

I’ve made a note of it but as I was writing it, I realised this is a bit of an edge case as it depends on many factors. I think a new tick box would be useful but I’ll need to work out where it should be placed and when it cane be used, etc first.
I’ll continue to investigate and add it if I can as I think it would be useful. Not sure when this might be though.
