QuickLatex has major probs

  • Most of this page is screwed. QuickLatex simply chokes because “$” is present.

    Is there a reliable way to make sure QuickLatex is off?

    unless ($latexoff = 1)
    {latex_is_on;}

    ORRR

    unless ($zone_starts_with_string)
    {latex_is_off;}

    ALSO, to escape “$” and print “$” ($1000.50) I need to use \\$.
    I think this is an error.

    I have been using “Insert Math” to display my math formula in the page.
    That plugin is dead. I need to ise QuickLatex for everything. Is there a
    nice way to get this functionality using QuickLatex? OF SPECIAL importance
    is the abilty of “Insert Math” to display the typeset math formula below
    while I was typing it in so I know what the user will see.

    Since “Insert Math” is offically dead, make “Insert Math” part of QuickLatex?
    They conflict, so I cannot run them at the same time…
