Quickly remove/change slots on front-end

Is there a way to quickly remove a slot on the front-end? Currently, the customer has to click the timeslot button and then the checkout button again to remove it, which is not at all obvious if they are new to the site. Can you implement something like an [x] button next to the slot to quickly remove it?
