Quicktag

  • I have a question. Now that I have downloaded the quicktags plugin, do I have to make any changes? Or do I upload it straight?

    And, to which directory do I upload it?

    I assume you are talking about the Comments Quicktags which is totally different than the Quicktags used in your Write area.
    The latter one comes with your WP install, you just have to disable to wysiwyg editor.

    For the comments quicktags plugin, I assume it work like every plugin: you read the instructions and install it. Plugins should be installed in wp-content/plugins directory and then activated through the admin panel > Plugins.

    Owen’s instructions for the comment quicktags plugin are pretty straight forward:

    Download and unzip the file, put the file in wp-contents/plugins folder,then activate it.
