Quite an amazing (complex) plugin

  • The plugin seems to be doing a lot of things and at first it is a little daunting. I give it a 4 star because I feel that the ergonomics could be improved to facilitate the admin of media by less WP-savvy users.

    Maybe the plugin would be split into 2, a simple Media category management (create, sort, bulk edit) and a more advanced one that sits on top of the first in order to extend the functionality for more advanced users.

    Otherwise, BRAVO for a some amazing functionality!

    Ok, came back and gave it a 5 star because like all such efforts, trying to fit everyone’s needs is always a daunting task, but the energy displayed in answering all queries in the support forum merits this 5th star!

    Thanks for your rating and the positive feedback. Good reviews and customer feedback are a big motivation to continue the work.

    I agree that complexity can be a barrier for some users, and there have been a few earlier comments along the same lines. As you can tell from the Change Log, the plugin has grown to its present state from a modest start over a long period. It’s my first plugin and I have learned a lot along the way.

    I will continue thinking about ways to simplify the user interface and divide or add functions without disrupting current users. I welcome any ideas you might have. Thanks again for your interest and for taking the time to review MLA.

    thank you for the plugin, the idea is very good and I can see a number of places where improvements could be made in term of ease of UI. It is a plugin that could easily become indispensable for many WP sites.

    I am hoping to be able to have time to use it more thoroughly sometimes next month, at which point I shall give you some more feedback that may be of help to you.
