    Hi,

I’ve been working with the QSM plugin to create a quiz in my online course with Tutor LMS and WordPress.

I have already created the quiz and the results pages and the questions are set up to be graded by points and as correct or incorrect.

My quiz has categories because I need the grading to be by category, which is why I chose this plugin for my quiz.

However, when testing it, my results pages do not appear when I finish the quiz, instead I am sent to an ‘undefined’ page.

It seems that the plugin is either not adding up the points correctly or is adding them up incorrectly, which is preventing the conditions for each results page from being met and displayed at the end of the quiz.

Has anyone experienced something similar and can give me some guidance on how to resolve it?

I would be so grateful if someone could provide a solution.

    Cheers.

    Hi @cristinacc,

Thank you for writing to us. I see you’re seeking help with your quiz setup, especially around grading categories and results pages. I understand how important it is to have everything run smoothly for your course, and I’m here to assist you.

To resolve this, I’d recommend first confirming that your quiz has been published, as this step is necessary for the results pages to appear correctly. You can do this by clicking the “Publish” button, and I’ve attached a screenshot to guide you through it. https://snipboard.io/FgvMB5.jpg

Additionally, sharing a screenshot of your results page setup would be helpful. It will give me a clearer view of the conditions and variables you’ve set up for calculating the results.

If your quiz is published and you’re still facing the issue, there might be a conflict with another theme or plugin on your website. To assist with this, I’ve included a guide on how to identify and resolve such conflicts: https://quizandsurveymaster.com/how-to-identify-theme-plugin-conflict-with-qsm/

Also, please make sure you’re using the latest version of the QSM plugin (9.1.2), as updates can improve functionality and resolve various issues

If you run into any further issues after these steps, please reach out. I’m here to help and will work with you to ensure everything is resolved

    Kind regards,
    Sadiya

    Hi Sadiya,

I hope you’re well, and thank you for your reply.

I have checked all your recommendations; please see the results below:

    1. The Publish button does not appear in my dashboard. However, I’m sure the quiz is published as I’ve been able to test it on my website.
    2. I’ve received assistance from you before, which is why I had already followed the guide to check for any issues or conflicts, but I couldn’t find anything related.
    3. I also checked the version of the plugin, and it is the latest one.

On the other hand, I couldn’t find how to attach the screenshots in this conversation. Could you please let me know where I should send them? (Email or other option)

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Cheers,

    Cristina

Hi Sadiya, I hope you are well.

I haven’t received response from you.

Could you please let me know if my request is still open or is I should try a different plugin for my website?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @cristinacc,

Thank you so much for your patience and for updating us.

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. To help resolve the issue, could you please edit the result template and remove ‘undefined’ from the redirect URL fields? After doing this, resave the result template. This should help address the problem you’re encountering.

If you have any screenshots to share, please upload them to Snipboard and provide us with the link, as I have done here. https://snipboard.io/iNurb3.jpg

Thank you again for your understanding. I’m here to support you, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions or need further assistance.

    Best regards,
    Sadiya

    Hello Sadiya,

    Thank you for your reply.

The option you gave me worked as now the ‘undefined’ page does not appear. However, only one of the results pages that have been created appears.

As I explained before, I have several result pages, because I need the rating to be by categories. When the conditions created for each category are met, one result page by category should appear. If it doesn’t work like that, there would be no point in the quiz allowing questions to be grouped by categories to be graded in that way.

I have a lot of screenshots showing how the quiz is set up on my site, can I send them via email? Or would you prefer me to create a user so you can log into my site and review it directly?

    Please let me know.

I really need your assistance in this matter.

    Regards,

    Cristina

    Hi @cristinacc ,

Thank you for getting back to us and for letting us know that the ‘undefined’ page issue has been resolved. I understand that you’re encountering an issue with the result pages not displaying as expected, especially given the different categories for ratings.

To help us provide a more accurate solution, could you please share screenshots of how the result pages are set up and the URL of the quiz? This will allow us to better understand the configuration and address the issue effectively.

For sharing screenshots, we recommend using Snipboard.io. Simply upload your screenshot there, and you’ll receive a URL that you can share with us. You can learn more about it here: Snipboard.

Please avoid sharing any login credentials directly on public forums for security reasons.

We’re here to support you and ensure everything works as you need. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, just let us know!

    Best regards,

    Hello @cristinacc ,

Thank you for your efforts and for sharing the screenshots with us. Our team has reviewed the setup and we have some insights to share.

At the moment, We are unable to register on your website, which has prevented us from logging in and attempting the quizzes myself. However, based on the screenshots you’ve provided, it appears that multiple categories have been set up for scoring. These categories assign points depending on whether the scores are above or below a certain threshold.

For example, if a user logs in and their score for Category 1 is less than 10 points, and at the same time, the scores for Categories 2, 3, and 4 are also below 10 points, the system will check these conditions. The final output displayed to the user will be determined by the last true logic condition that is met.

Additionally, if you would like to prioritize certain results, you can set up multiple scoring conditions. For instance, a user might need to meet these criteria to see a specific result:

    • Category 1 points are greater than 10.
    • Category 5 points are less than 10.
    • Category 10 points are less than 15.

This way, you can customize the outcome based on the user’s scores across various categories, ensuring that specific results are shown according to your defined priorities. https://snipboard.io/IBE9Vb.jpg

I hope this helps clarify the setup! Please let us know if you have any further questions or if there’s anything else we can assist with. We’re here to support you.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

    Kind regards,
    Sadiya
